This is LF Models 1/48 resin kit of the Nardi FN.315, the only model avaialble in any scale of this aircraft (as is their single seater FN.316 variant in the same scale).

LF Models should be applauded for daring to produce models of such lesser known aircraft, but they do require a fair amount to input from the modeller to get the best out of them.

This particular model is a case in point. It is definitely not an easy model to build and I used a fair amount of online reference material to try to keep it looking as accurate as possible... the instructions were a bit vague in some areas. The slimline canopy, when compared to the FN.305, is probably an attempt to improve the aerodynamic properties of the airframe in comparison to the rather boxy FN.305 canopy.
