This is the Pacific Coast Models 1/32 FIAT G.55 kit, the only one in this scale. Now OOP, it is a fine kit. This was built for a SAMI review article but the text has been lost. It has the usual limited run limitations such as thick trailing edges and some smaller parts have mould seam lines that need careful removal. I made new undercarraige doors as the kit parts were too thick. This rather attractive banded scheme was also applied to ANR Macchi C.205s. The RAF captured a G.55 in this scheme and transported it to RAF Farnborugh but it was scrapped after WWII.
